Empowering clients to achieve financial confidence and live life on their terms.
With over 30 years of experience as a Senior Investment Advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns, I specialize in comprehensive wealth management for prominent families, entrepreneurs, and executives. My team and I simplify the complexity of planning—covering retirement, estate, tax, and investment strategies—so clients can focus on what truly matters: family, philanthropy, and personal passions.
I’m honored to serve as National Chair of BMO Wealth’s Investment Advisor Advisory Council, where I collaborate with leadership to shape strategy and enhance client experience. I’m proud to have consistently received awards recognizing our practice as one of the top performers at BMO Nesbitt Burns, awarded to advisors for delivering the highest quality client service and business management
Beyond work, I’m passionate about giving back through volunteer roles on private boards and committees, mentoring business students at the University of Calgary, and advocating for seniors’ care through the Brenda Strafford Foundation.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, curling, skiing, playing tennis, and enjoying time with my family.

Taylor is a results-driven financial professional who joined our team after relocating to Calgary to be closer to family.
After earning a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Taylor began his career at BMO Nesbitt Burns in Vancouver, where he gained valuable career experience. Licensed to trade options, Taylor developed advanced trading strategies to generate tax-efficient income and diversification for affluent clients’ concentrated positions. He has also obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. Taylor connects with client families to offer valuable wealth planning advice, and advanced financial planning and tax strategies.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Taylor had the opportunity to travel across Canada for both his academic and athletic pursuits. While playing Junior Hockey in communities across Northern BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, he participated in charitable initiatives that aligned with his values - mentoring youth; partnership with Canadian Tire to donate sports equipment, water, and food; created and led kids’ camps; and helped enhance reading skills at schools and clinics.
As an athlete, Taylor was always taught to make a difference both in competition and in life. Building strong connections in communities through sport has made a positive impact on his personal growth, and he is grateful to continue his career with The Elder Team who share his passion for giving back.
Outside of the office, Taylor has shifted his focus to non-contact sports. You can find him on the golf course, playing tennis, or horseback riding in the Foothills.
