Winter 2026 Newsletter: Ten Years From Now
What a difference ten years can make. We bid farewell to the Blackberry
smartphone, Canada Savings Bonds and DVDs, and embraced what once
seemed unimaginable: tap-to-pay from our phones, hailing a ride from a stranger
(Uber) and groceries delivered to our doorstep. The attached link to our winter newsletter,
“Ten Years From Now,” reflects on what can happen in a decade. While ten
years is an arbitrary span, it provides a fair perspective to view a full cycle
of events, including both peaks and troughs.
