Our Team

Melina has been in the financial service industry since 1991. After completing her studies in Finance at Concordia University she joined a major Bank as an investment specialist. That led her to BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1995 where she gained expertise in bonds, mutual funds and equity investments. She is dedicated and focused on delivering exceptional customer service. Establishing a solid client relationship is of the utmost importance to her. She distinguishes herself most notably with the quality of her retirement investment analysis and a good understanding of her client’s retirement needs and holistic financial planning.

Fabio brings over 20 years of experience in online brokerage, compliance, and customer service. Prior to joining Melina's team in October 2024, he worked at BMO InvestorLine as an Analyst in Compliance and Transaction Reviews where he developed a strong foundation in regulatory standards and operational excellence. 

Since joining our team, Fabio plays a role in implementing our client service model and investment solutions strategies as well as day-to-day operations and administration. He holds organizational skills and dedication to high-quality service making him a valuable asset to our clients and team.

Fabio is committed to his ongoing professional development and continues to pursue relevant industry courses.

Melanie joined BMO Nesitt Burns in March 2021. She has over 15 years of experience in the banking industry as a financial services representative and manager for a major Canadian bank. 

Melanie has also completed her Investment Funds Course (IFIC), the Canadian Securities Institute's Personal Financial Services Advisory Course and the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

She plays a major role in our team as the first point of contact for all administrative matters. In addition to administering account openings, deposits and withdrawals for our customers, she is also responsible for data collection for financial planning. 

In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her partner and 4 children. Her favorite activities are mountain hiking, kayaking and cycling. 

Emily has worked for BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2019. She is responsible for the day-to-day administration of all accounts and servicing clients, including client correspondence and communication.
