Mark Beverly, BSc, CIM®, CFP®

Senior Investment Advisor

Combining strong analytical skills with a rare ability to connect sincerely with people and earn their trust and respect, Mark Beverly has delivered tailored investment and financial planning advice and services to affluent individuals and families since 1999. Humble, caring and dedicated to knowing each and every person on a deep level, Mark is known for his sincerity and sense of humor as much as his investing instincts and financial knowledge.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Trent University, Mark began working in Ottawa as an Economist for an industry association. He returned to the Maritimes, where he spent some time as a child, and worked for two large Canadian banks as an Investment Advisor.

Mark holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations and collaborates closely with a large and diverse network of wealth planning and banking specialists across BMO Private Wealth. His background in economics and 25 years of experience give him a strong foundation on which to perform his own research and select his own investments.

Mark has served on the boards of the Frye Festival and Food Depot Alimentaire, as the New Brunswick District Council Member for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), and as a PSSC Committee Member for the Edith Cavell School. Mark and his wife Kezia Williamson, a City Solicitor for the City of Moncton, have two sons, Elliott and Wynn and daughter Rose who are all quite active in sports and music. He has volunteered for many years as a coach for the Moncton Minor Basketball Association, 506 Elite Basketball, and both Codiac and Dieppe Soccer. He is an active fundraiser for the Sistema Music program as well as the Food Depot Alimentaire. Mark feels deeply that all children who have the talent should get the opportunity to compete at the highest levels in sports. For this reason, he has sponsored many local athletes to help get them to the National stage. When he can carve out some time for himself, Mark loves to unwind by paddling his canoe on the local rivers.
