Mario Antinori

Portfolio Manager

Mario Antinori was born and raised in Montreal.  Upon graduation from Concordia University in 1998, Mario immediately entered the investment profession. He started at a leading independent investment counselling firm that was later bought out by a Canadian chartered bank. In 2001, Mario was recruited by Canada’s top private client
portfolio management group at a bank-owned investment dealer, then managing $700 million in clients’ assets. It was there, working with some of the country’s wealthiest individuals and families, that Mario’s investment philosophy was developed, nurtured and applied.

Very proud of his heritage, Mario is a Governor of the Fondazione Comunitario Italo-Canadese (FCCI) and a member of the Montreal chapter of the Canadian-Italian Business and Professional Association. Dedicated to the community, Mario is also a long-time contributor to the Canadian Cancer Society and volunteers his time with various organizations.

A cycling enthusiast, Mario has peddled his way up some of the most grueling mountain passes in Europe.  Most notably the iconic Passo Stelvio at an elevation of 2,758 m above sea level.

Karina Faustini

Administrative Assistant

Karina completed her studies from John Molson’s School of Business at Concordia University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in Human Resource Management. She joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2021 and has 4 years of experience in the Personal and Commercial banking industry. She's currently working towards obtaining her license as a Securities Representative and growing her experience the securities industry.

 
Karina has a role of great importance in the team since she remains at the disposal of our clients to assist them with their administrative requests and to answer their questions, as much about their monthly statements as about the general administration of their files. She is also responsible for the day-to-day administration of client accounts, updating them, transfers of securities and cash between financial institutions as well as everything related to client services.

Danny Guarnieri, CPA, CA

Director, Wealth Planning

Danny offers personalized wealth management advice to high-net-worth BMO clients. He identifies each client’s needs and objectives and determines their financial position in order to develop a comprehensive plan that simplifies complex matters such as financial, tax, estate and business succession planning. In addition, Danny draws on his extensive experience in a private practice to develop quality plans and educate clients on the risks and opportunities inherent in these plans.

 

Danny joined BMO Wealth Management in 2017. He began his career in 2006 with the international accounting firm Deloitte, where he gained significant experience auditing large public and private corporations. After completing a master’s degree in taxation in 2013, he joined Deloitte’s tax services where he specialized in tax planning and compliance for public and private corporations. In 2015, Danny joined the tax department of Richter LLP, where he developed his knowledge of tax planning and restructuring for private corporations and business owners.

As a Tax lawyer and financial planner, Zeina advises high net worth families, professionals and entrepreneurs on specialized wealth planning solutions. Whether it’s thought leadership on estate planning, new family wealth, tax planning, or philanthropy, Zeina is dedicated to simplifying complex issues and providing practical and informed strategies. Zeina joined BMO in 2011 after several years as a tax lawyer in private practice. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2001.

Relying on over 35 years of professional experience, Jean brings in-depth technical knowledge to his clients both in general planning discussions and when dealing with a wide range of international tax situations, U.S. income and estate taxation, and Canadian income tax.

 

Jean joined BMO Wealth Management in 2001 after acquiring solid expertise in advising individual clients and business owners with a leading Canadian insurer, a leading accounting firm, and a law firm.
