Kevin O'Sullivan, BA, CIM

Senior Portfolio Manager And Senior Investment Advisor

For affluent, successful families whose lives and assets cross borders, Kevin O'Sullivan provides specialized wealth management grounded in a global perspective, drawing on more than 30 years of experience.

Hailing from a family originating in southwest Ireland that resided in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and North America, Kevin's worldview was further shaped by his international education at St. Andrews International School in the Bahamas, Pinecrest School in Fort Lauderdale, and Sacred Heart University in New England. This multicultural foundation has provided him with an understanding of the complexities that families face when their wealth spans multiple jurisdictions.

Kevin began his career in 1991 at a major bank-owned investment firm in Canada, where he quickly identified a critical gap in services for clients with international ties. During several years with another leading bank-owned investment firm, he gained experience in managing complex portfolios for families with a global footprint. In 2025, Kevin joined BMO Private Wealth to utilize the firm's private banking resources, strength, and stability to address his clients' complex wealth management needs.

Fluent in Spanish, Kevin's practice is built upon a proven 4 step process that integrates portfolio management, financial projections, wills and estate planning, and strategic insurance review in collaboration with BMO Private Wealth's network of specialists and Private Bankers. His methodology aims to integrate multiple aspects of a family's financial life, regardless of where their assets reside or where family members call home.

Kevin’s knowledge of global influences and international wealth frameworks allows him to navigate the complexities that arise when tax planning, investment goals, and estate planning requirements intersect and manage legacies with precision.

A former Ironman competitor, Kevin brings a disciplined and strategic approach to the preservation and growth of family wealth across generations. When he’s not advising clients or training, Kevin enjoys time spent cycling, sailing, and relaxing with his wife and son along with their energetic black lab.
