Meet The Team

At the age of 12, Justin told his teacher and classmates in a grade 8 career day presentation that he was going to be a stock broker when he grew up; within a year, he had made his first stock trade using $50 he earned from working in the kitchen of a restaurant.  Over the next few decades, Justin has progressively grown to become an expert in the investing space and continues to make stock trades, only with a little more money.

Professionally, Justin has worked across Canada, in the United States, and in Australia.  Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Justin worked as a Controller for a Canadian technology company which he helped to take public.  As a Controller, Justin was also directly involved in the acquisition of 6 other tech companies ranging from $6 million - $185 million, the valuation of multi-million dollar derivatives, and corporate financial planning.  Justin also has worked for the largest international public accounting firm and for another leading Canadian wealth firm as an Associate Financial Advisor.

Justin holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations. Justin also holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree from the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business.

Outside of the office, you can find Justin and his wife Brittany on one of many world adventures such as: skiing in Whistler, riding a dirt bike through the jungles of Cambodia, shucking Oysters in Ireland, drinking coffee in Costa Rica, or enjoying tapas in Madrid.
