Additional beneficiaries of the tournament have included Big Brothers Big Sisters, Antigonish Early Childhood Intervention, Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation and St. Martha’s Hospital Pediatric Department St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation The Foundation was established in 1990, and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. It is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and an Executive Director. The Board of Directors along with the Executive Director work diligently to guarantee that St. Martha’s provides the best patient care and is well prepared for the future. Festival Antigonish - Summer Theatre Festival Antigonish has established an inspiring legacy as a premier summer repertory theatre in Atlantic Canada. Each summer, we bring together the best artists from across Nova Scotia and beyond to create an award-winning Main Stage series, a Family Stage show, and other innovative artistic presentations. We are housed in the intimate Bauer Theatre on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS. Special Olympics Nova Scotia Special Olympics Nova Scotia is committed to enriching the lives of Nova Scotians with an intellectual disability through sport. Our vision is that sport will open hearts and minds towards people with intellectual disabilities and create inclusive communities all over the world. Special Olympics will strive for this vision by providing better quality sport opportunities supported through health initiatives. At the same time, we will step up efforts to use our work to tell the world about the talents and abilities of people with ID. Nova Scotia Hall of Fame The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity, providing a free museum, free education programming and a collection that is fully accessible online. We also oversee a nominations process to select new inductees annually carefully and fairly. Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia is a registered charity that works to increase financial support to community initiatives throughout Nova Scotia while providing hope and eradicating the stigma around mental illness and addiction.
