Financial Planner, Portfolio Manager

Jordan was originally born and raised in Grande Prairie, AB. Jordan moved down to Lethbridge in 2000 to pursue his post-secondary education at the University of Lethbridge, where he received his Bachelor of Management Degree with a major in Finance. Jordan has been servicing clients with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2004. Over that time, he has received many industry designations such as Personal Financial Planner, Derivatives Market Specialist, Chartered Investment Manager and Discretionary Portfolio Manager.

 

As a Discretionary Portfolio Manager, Jordan spends his time researching and constructing portfolios for both retail and institutional clients. His "client-first" approach in everything he does is what keeps his relationship strong and focused. He has effectively constructed risk-adjusted portfolios to help clients navigate retirement with a goal to preserve capital and to pass on their wealth to future generations. Over the years, he has focused on building intergenerational relationships with clients and has enjoyed managing the dynamic and unique needs of each family.

 

Jordan is happily married to his lovely wife Elaine and has two children named Maleeya and Keelin. Away from the business, he enjoys golfing, skiing and traveling with family and friends. 

Jocelyn Leeds

Senior Client Service Associate

Jocelyn provides invaluable support for our clients and their families, and is central to the client service experience. Her attention to detail and thoroughness in everything she does is part of her commitment and care to those that have entrusted us with their wealth. Jocelyn has an ability to connect with people easily, builds strong relationships, and has a caring approach to fully understanding out clients individual situations. She is trusted to meet their needs in a timely manner.

 

Jocelyn has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2013, starting out as our branch operations administrator, quickly acquiring the skills and understanding of the day-to-day operations of a wealth management office. In August 2016, Jocelyn shifted her focus and began supporting the administration and client service task for the team. In the Fall of 2022, Jocelyn completed the Registered Representative licensing program, and is currently working towards finishing the Wealth Management Essentials course.

 
On a more personal note, Jocelyn moved to Lethbridge in the summer of 2013 from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, where she grew up on a family farm. Growing up she was involved in the local 4-H club for 17 years where she was involved in fundraising and volunteering within the community. in 2020 the farm life came calling, and Jocelyn and her family moved back to "the farm", living just outside Claresholm, AB.

 

When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, and two children doing outdoor activities such as; ice skating, hiking, and spending time on the farm.
