John Wiens has been part of the BMO Nesbitt Burns Team over 30+ years.  During his time he has developed strong, close and valuable relationships with all his clients.  John believes Trust is the most important thing  to build a relationship, both personally and professionally. 
John prides himself on helping his clients learn and keeping them engaged through communication with their investments and finances. 
Family is John's most valuable asset.  John has a wife Kier and two children Mackenzie and Miranda.

Mackenzie started at Nesbitt Burns in the summer 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Trinity Western University where he also played hockey for the Spartans. Mackenzie, like his father believes in the value of Trust with all personal and professional relationships. Mackenzie has obtained CSC and CPH. Mackenzie spends his spare time at the gym, cottage, golfing and coaching U15 AAA hockey in Winnipeg. 

For over 20 years, Kurtis has worked with clients to provide an empowering vantage point from which
to see the landscape of their personal finances. He believes wealth planning has just as much to do
with people as numbers. During every step of the financial planning process, he fosters strong
personal relationships based in trust, transparency, and mutual respect. Kurtis’s greatest impact is
instilling confidence and peace of mind within the clients he works with.

Evanthi has had over 15 years of banking experience in various roles within BMO Financial Group and moved over to Private Wealth in 2019. She is a specialist in personal and commercial lending strategies for high-net-worth and ultra high net worth individuals and families with a dedicated focus on physician, specialists, dentists and other healthcare providers at every stage of their medical career. She implements tactics that help with personal and commercial financing as well as day-to-day banking needs to support your milestones.
 

David helps his clients with the proper administration of their estates. His professional services result in an efficient estate administration and often reduce family friction and conflict. As a professional trustee, David ensures your beneficiary’s needs are professionally attended to and guarantee stewardship of their trust.
David is also an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg. David has been in the financial sector for the last 23 years. He’s been involved the in administration of estates and has been acting as a corporate trustee for the last 13 years. In addition, David works closely with families and their charitable foundations to achieve their philanthropic goals

Shane is a Certified Financial Planner and a Trust and Estate Practitioner.
He is passionate about financial and estate planning and has experience providing wealth advise to clients for over 15 years which is further strengthened by his past experience of leading over 30 wealth advisory (professional) teams. Shane has been featured in the Winnipeg Free Press as a financial expert and also authored the book
“A Planner Retirement".

Yasmin is a graduate from the University of Manitoba where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management, she brings prior experience in office administration, where she developed a strong organizational skills and gained expertise in records managements and client support. Yasmin began her career with Nesbitt Burns in December 2024 and is currently building her path in the financial services sector. She is dedicated to providing efficient, and detail-oriented support to ensure an exceptional client experience.
