Meet Our Team

Joe has over 30 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry, within BMO Financial Group. Joe provides expertise in areas such as Portfolio Management, Financial and Estate planning and Asset allocation strategy. Joe is also able to offer clients a broad range of Insurance products through BMO Estate Insurance Advisory Services Inc.

In addition to his industry experience, Joe received his MBA from Dalhousie University and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).  Active in the community, Joe has worked with the London Community Foundation investment committee and on the board of Aeolian Hall. Joe is married with 2 daughters and has a passion for music, travel and yoga.

Colin was born and raised in the small community of Dresden until moving to London to pursue a post-secondary education in Finance. He graduated, started in career in 2016 and was hired by BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017 where he provided Portfolio Management and Financial Planning among other services. 
In August 2021, Colin moved to London, England for two years where he worked as an Investment Manager, managing client portfolios and was the lead Research Analyst for European equities and U.K Real Estate. Colin received valuable international experience during this time and moved back to Canada in August 2023 to re-join BMO Nesbitt Burns within Joe B. Goverde Wealth Management Group. 

In addition to industry experience, Colin is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). Beyond his professional pursuits, Colin thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about travel, fitness and sports. 

Lee grew up in Toronto, then moved to London to study at Western. After graduating with her BA, she made London her home & was hired at an investment firm. She started in an administrative role that developed into an associate role where she spent many years building relationships with clients and working with incredible colleagues and friends. In her spare time, Lee is an enthusiastic yoga student and teacher. She enjoys skiing, cheering for the Leafs, and spending time with her husband, children, and their dog Burt. 

Dorothy was born in Ontario and grew up on her family’s dairy farm. Life on the farm instilled a strong work ethic and dedication to the community. She moved to London when she started attending the University of Western Ontario. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, she decided to stay in the city to pursue a career and buy a home.

Dorothy has three decades of industry experience with a background in compliance and customer service. She joined Nesbitt Burns 10 years ago and has continued to hone her skills in ensuring regulatory adherence and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Her passion for building strong relationships and resolving complex issues has earned her a reputation as a trusted and reliable professional.

Beyond her professional life she is a proud and devoted mom to her daughter and in her free time enjoys staying active through volleyball, baseball and nurturing her inner farmer in the garden.
