Jason Hill

Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager

Jason has been advising clients in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2001, and from Carleton University with an Arts degree, majoring in Psychology, in 1997. Over the years Jason has established proficient strategies for building and preserving wealth using risk minimization techniques, tax-efficient strategies, and dynamic asset allocation. He is a Chartered Investment Manager and Professional Financial Planner with years of extensive experience in the areas of investment strategy, financial planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. Jason currently resides in Huron County (Exeter) with his wife.

Melissa Gauvin

Investment Representative

Melissa has spent over 15 years working in the field of finance. After graduating with an accounting diploma from Fanshawe college, she developed a thorough understanding of tax strategy and the administrative side of personal finance. Melissa has extensive experience in developing tax returns, private banking, brokering stocks, and has spent the last 6 years in her current role as a registered investment representative. All of this has combined to give Melissa a wholistic understanding of what it takes to provide well rounded support to clients. When Melissa isn’t in the office, her free time is typically spent chasing around her two young and very active children and visiting with friends and family.

Jacob Hill, CIM®

Investment Associate

Jacob graduated with an Honour’s Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in 2023. Through his education and experience with BMO, he has developed a passion for investment management, financial analysis, and retirement and estate planning. He is committed to continually deepening his industry knowledge through consistent market research, industry conferences, continued education, and investment podcasts. Jacob is a Chartered Investment Manager and has plans of achieving further designations in the future. In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with friends, golfing, exercising, and watching sports.

Prior to joining BMO Estate and Insurance Advisory Services, David worked with a major Canadian insurance organization for twenty years where he held many senior leadership roles.  During that time David had extensive involvement in organizational strategy, product pricing, product design, client service, distribution, advanced planning, and marketing. David has been a frequent speaker at industry and client events across Canada and the United States.

Jennifer Morrison, CFP, TEP

Director, Wealth Planning

When Jennifer first meets with clients, she takes the time to uncover their specific goals and concerns. Common concerns are retirement planning, estate planning and business succession planning. Once Jennifer has gathered as much quantitative and qualitative information as she can, she draws from her own knowledge and experience as well as the knowledge and  experience of the specialized planners at BMO Wealth Management, to provide tailored wealth planning solutions to meet each client’s specific needs. Maximizing wealth is one of the many benefits of having a plan prepared. However, the reduced stress and anxiety surrounding money matters reported by clients after going through this process, is what Jennifer finds most satisfying about her role.

Jennifer has 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on financial planning for high net worth professionals and business owners. Before joining BMO Wealth Management she worked as a financial planner at a medium sized financial services firm. She is an advocate of financial literacy; she was a part time professor at the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business at Fanshawe College and volunteered as a mentor in the Goodwill Financial Literacy Program.

Leigh Vyn, CPA, CA, CFP, FEA

Director, Tax Planning

Leigh is a Director of Tax Planning at BMO Private Wealth. With over twenty years of experience, Leigh understands the broad issues that wealthy families face. By taking the time to understand client’s specific goals and objectives, she brings her extensive subject matter expertise to help guide families through the unique opportunities and challenges that they may be facing in the areas of tax and estate planning, corporate structuring, business succession planning, and family governance.
Leigh can skillfully take complex tax and estate issues, and speak to clients about these in a way that they can easily understand.  In addition to her accounting background, she has extensive experience in the investment industry, including working at a multi-family office where she led a diverse team. For four years, Leigh co-authored the book “Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies”.
When not at work, Leigh and husband, Dave manage a busy house with two teenagers. She enjoys running and hiking the many trails Ancaster offers.

Lisa Mazurek

Director, Trust Services

Lisa is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is involved with the Estate Planners Council of London. She is past president of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and has been a volunteer with the North London Hockey Association and the London Junior Mustangs over the past 11 years. Lisa and her husband Rob live in London and have two boys. When not at work, Lisa enjoys
spending time with her family and cheering on her favourite sports teams.

Lisa has over 30 years of experience in assisting with the disposition and settlement of estates as well as providing financial care and management solutions for clients and their families to manage their wealth plans in the event of health or incapacity issues.

Corrie Kruyssen

Senior Private Banker

Corrie started her career as a Customer Service Representative in the Amherstburg, Ontario branch. Upon a move to London, she became a Private Banking Officer where she stayed for 11 years. During that time she attended University, as an adult, obtaining her Bachelors of Commerce degree with a minor in Human resources. Upon graduation, Corrie moved to the Business Banking division at BMO as a Credit Analyst and during that time completed her Personal Financial Planning level one. Corrie recently returned to BMO Private Wealth as a Private Banker.

As a six-time Platinum award winner, Corrie’s focus is on developing client relationships, presenting new possibilities, developing strategy and ensuring all the right people are at the table for you and your family. Corrie volunteers with the annual Kids Help Phone walk and is an active fundraiser for the United Way.
