Ivan Kong is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Senior Investment Advisor, and team leader of The Kong Wealth Management Group. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Ivan graduated from the Executive MBA program from Simon Fraser University. He holds the CFA designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Ivan manages investment portfolios for individual and corporate clients with risk management in mind. He is an equity market commentator on local radio as well as an active participant in community services.

Gordon is a Senior Investment Associate, with over 18 years of experience in banking and investment. He works closely with clients to help them achieve their retirement goals with proper planning and ongoing monitoring and adjustments. Gordon focuses on doing the right thing for each and every client, and is passionate about making a positive impact. To ensure he is providing the best financial advice, Gordon constantly works to stay up-to-date in his profession. In his own time, Gordon enjoys spending time with his family and participating in a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, and camping around BC.

Sherry has over 20 years of financial industry experience, with a strong focus in comprehensive family wealth planning. Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2021, Sherry has been an Investment Advisor, Associate Investment Advisor in an investment firm, Associate Director at a major global bank, Financial Advisor at one of the five big banks.
Sherry holds Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Janet has approached 20 years of experience in the financial industry, as a licensed administrative associate. Before rejoining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2022, she worked at two other large investment firms igniting a passion for her work and honing her administrative skills. Janet is committed to the highest level of customer service and she is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. In her own time, she enjoys cake decorating, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with her two sons.

Karen has worked in the financial industry since 2013 and is a licensed administrative associate. Her attention to detail and extensive customer service allows for delivery of the utmost care for our clients. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. Outside the office, Karen enjoys jogging and spending time with her two children and her dog.

Cecilia graduated from Simon Fraser University, Beedie Business School in 2023 and achieved her master’s degree of Finance. Before her entrance to banking industry, she interned in different Fortune 500 companies and accumulated wealth of experience in customer services and relationship building. She feels excited to join the team and is now working towards the CFA destination. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
