Michael Sheahan, MBA

Michael has over 35 years of experience in the wealth management industry, guiding individuals and families in achieving their financial goals.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and joined Nesbitt Thomson Deacon in 1987 as a rookie stockbroker.  Michael is committed to building strong, long lasting relationships with his clients while understanding their financial needs and guiding them through retirement. His philosophy centres on a mix of managed money and individual security selections to meet needs of income and growth, tailored to each individual’s needs.
 
When he is not in the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children and grandchildren. Athletics such as golf, skiing and basketball as well as music and photography are among the family’s activities. 

Marty Hodgins, MBA, PFP®

Senior Investment Advisor

With more than 25 years of experience in comprehensive wealth advisory, Marty specializes in helping high-net-worth families build, preserve, and transfer wealth across generations. He works closely with clients—and their accountants and lawyers when needed—to deliver a truly integrated approach to wealth management.

Marty provides tailored advice in key areas such as investment strategy, tax-efficient wealth and estate planning, and creating consistent, reliable income in retirement. He also has extensive experience guiding families through complex business transitions, whether passing the business to the next generation or preparing for a sale to an external buyer.

As part of BMO Nesbitt Burns, Marty draws on the full depth of BMO Private Wealth’s resources to help clients achieve their goals today and secure their legacy for the future.

Outside of work, Marty enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, and taking in as many sporting events and concerts as possible.

Bruce Andrews

Senior Investment Associate

Bruce has over 8 years of experience in wealth management, beginning his career with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017. After graduating from Fanshawe College on the President’s Honour Roll from the Professional Financial Services program, Bruce immediately started working face to face with clients discussing their personal finances. Bruce is driven by providing the highest level of client service while ensuring an understanding of their specific goals and objectives.
 
Outside of the office Bruce enjoys spending time with two children. He also enjoys skiing, golf and volleyball, as well as watching hockey and football.

Yi Dang, CFA®

Investment Associate

Yi Dang is an Investment Associate at BMO Private Wealth, where he plays a key role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through disciplined portfolio construction, active portfolio management, and tailored investment strategies. With a deep understanding of markets and client needs, Yi works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to design diversified portfolios that balance growth, income, and risk management.

Yi joined BMO Private Wealth in 2022, bringing with him a strong entrepreneurial background as a former partner in a successful business venture. He holds an Honours Specialization degree in Finance from Western University and is a CFA charterholder—having passed all three levels of the exam on consecutive attempts and placing in the top 10th percentile worldwide for Levels I and II. His commitment to continuous learning and analytical rigor sets him apart in delivering sound, client-centric investment advice.

Outside of work, Yi is passionate about health and wellness. He enjoys strength training and practices martial arts, which he finds both physically challenging and mentally grounding. He also volunteers at Rock Steady Boxing, a program that empowers people with Parkinson’s disease through boxing-based fitness. Most importantly, Yi values quality time with his wife, Brandi, and their young son, Luke, who keeps life joyful and full of purpose.

Jennifer Morrison, CFP, TEP

Director, Wealth Planning

When Jennifer first meets with clients, she takes the time to uncover their specific goals and concerns. Common concerns are retirement planning, estate planning and business succession planning. Once Jennifer has gathered as much quantitative and qualitative information as she can, she draws from her own knowledge and experience as well as the knowledge and  experience of the specialized planners at BMO Wealth Management, to provide tailored wealth planning solutions to meet each client’s specific needs. Maximizing wealth is one of the many benefits of having a plan prepared. However, the reduced stress and anxiety surrounding money matters reported by clients after going through this process, is what Jennifer finds most satisfying about her role.

Jennifer has 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry, with a focus on financial planning for high net worth professionals and business owners. Before joining BMO Wealth Management she worked as a financial planner at a medium sized financial services firm. She is an advocate of financial literacy; she was a part time professor at the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business at Fanshawe College and volunteered as a mentor in the Goodwill Financial Literacy Program.

Prior to joining BMO Estate and Insurance Advisory Services, David worked with a major Canadian insurance organization for twenty years where he held many senior leadership roles.  During that time David had extensive involvement in organizational strategy, product pricing, product design, client service, distribution, advanced planning, and marketing. David has been a frequent speaker at industry and client events across Canada and the United States.

Director, Tax Planning

Leigh is a Director of Tax Planning at BMO Private Wealth. With over twenty years of experience, Leigh understands the broad issues that wealthy families face. By taking the time to understand client’s specific goals and objectives, she brings her extensive subject matter expertise to help guide families through the unique opportunities and challenges that they may be facing in the areas of tax and estate planning, corporate structuring, business succession planning, and family governance.
Leigh can skillfully take complex tax and estate issues, and speak to clients about these in a way that they can easily understand.  In addition to her accounting background, she has extensive experience in the investment industry, including working at a multi-family office where she led a diverse team. For four years, Leigh co-authored the book “Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies”.
When not at work, Leigh and husband, Dave manage a busy house with two teenagers. She enjoys running and hiking the many trails Ancaster offers.

Prior to joining BMO Private Wealth in 2018, Adam worked for KPMG Corporate Finance Group, advising private company owners across multiple industries, with business enterprise values ranging from $3 million to +$100 million, on divestitures, acquisitions, due diligence, projections/financial modeling, and business valuations for multiple purposes. Other areas of experience include corporate restructuring and insolvency, financing, financial modeling & projections and corporate audits. Adam’s goal is to develop rapport with clients through open communication, trust and exceptional service. Leaning on his diverse background and experience, Adam provides guidance to private business owners and families throughout Ontario in the areas of business succession, transition, growth through acquisitions, sell-side M&A, and valuations for the purposes of wealth planning and exit planning.

Mandy Palinkas

Associate Private Banker

Mandy recently joined the BMO Nesbitt Burns team as an Associate Private Banker after 13 years with BMO in successive roles including Customer Service Representative, Financial Services Manager and Private Banking Assistant.  Mandy acts as a single point of contact for BMO Nesbitt Burns clients in all day to day banking needs, loan and mortgage requirements and works closely with your Investment Advisor to ensure all of your financial goals and objectives are met.

Mandy delivers exceptional client experience by bringing positive energy and a solution mindset to every interaction. She resides in Komoka, ON and enjoys spending time outdoors with her two young daughters.  She is a passionate advocate and supporter of the Ronald McDonald House.

Corrie Kruyssen

Senior Private Banker

Corrie started her career as a Customer Service Representative in the Amherstburg, Ontario branch. Upon a move to London, she became a Private Banking Officer where she stayed for 11 years. During that time she attended University, as an adult, obtaining her Bachelors of Commerce degree with a minor in Human resources. Upon graduation, Corrie moved to the Business Banking division at BMO as a Credit Analyst and during that time completed her Personal Financial Planning level one. Corrie recently returned to BMO Private Wealth as a Private Banker.

As a six-time Platinum award winner, Corrie’s focus is on developing client relationships, presenting new possibilities, developing strategy and ensuring all the right people are at the table for you and your family. Corrie volunteers with the annual Kids Help Phone walk and is an active fundraiser for the United Way.
