Legacy is something that is truly unique to everyone. It is something that we do not necessarily directly focus on as we deal with our daily routines. We have found it is something that becomes increasingly important as we reflect and search for meaning. With retirement taken care of, what becomes a driving force and motivation for planning is: what will we be remembered for? There is no one, right answer.
Once you have clarified the legacy you wish to leave behind, the next step is to create the road map to get there. These things do not happen on their own, and we have found that a will alone specifying ones wishes often is not enough.
