Our Team

My career in the Financial Services Industry started 19 years ago.  During that time I have specialized in creating client portfolios that provide a strong income stream with a focus on risk management. 

Having previously spent 25 years as a Broadcast Journalist, I have learned the importance of listening carefully to people, and I have a strong conviction that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits all investment solution.  Each person’s needs are different and I make sure to take the time to discover these needs with my clients.

I am also a strong believer in Community Service, and have served on multiple Lethbridge Boards and Committees, including Crime Stoppers; Lethbridge Symphony; the Rotary Club of Lethbridge; the Lethbridge College Wine Auction Committee and also the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors.

I have been working with the Bank of Montreal since 2013, where I have held several positions. I recently held the positon of Financial Services Coordinator, where I welcomed clients to the bank, booked appointments, as well as provided support to the Financial Service Managers.  I was also responsible for daily audit and compliance tasks. This position helped me to grow in my knowledge of the Bank of Montreal’s businesses and to anticipate various clients’ needs.  I enjoyed this position as I formed relationships with the clients and became a stronger team player, which made for an easy transition to the Wealth Management side of the Bank of Montreal, here at BMO Nesbitt Burns. 

When I am not at work I enjoy sitting at home with a cup of coffee and a really good book.
