Born in Vancouver, David graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.A., and earned an M.A. at Carleton University, where he studied Global Finance at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. Never one to discontinue learning, as part of his extensive professional development, and with distinction, David has completed several elective professional industry courses; he has been awarded the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in recognition of these accomplishments.
Today, at BMO Nesbitt Burns, David oversees significant investment portfolios belonging to his clientele of both private and institutional investors, primarily in the global natural resources sector.
