As a senior investment advisor with over 20 years of experience in the investment industry, Carlo delivers an institutional approach to affluent clients.

His role as a senior equity analyst, involved covering a wide spectrum of global stocks in the financial sector, consumer staples, consumer cyclical, and industrial services.

Carlo is a top-ranked analyst by Bloomberg and widely respected among investors.

Carlo brings outstanding financial analysis expertise, with skills in financial modelling and accounting. He has developed capital models, long and short investment strategies, and sophisticated valuation models, further demonstrating his comprehensive skill set.

 

Carlo’s academic achievements include a Master of Financial Analysis & Investment Management (M.Fin.) and a Master of Science in Economics (M.Sc.). He has earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, a recognized industry standard, as well as the CEFA designation (RBA) and a certificate in Advanced Investment Advice.

 

Outside of his professional responsibilities, he maintains a strong appreciation for the arts, particularly museums, live theatre, and musical performances, while also enjoying reading, sports, and film. In his early years he competed in chess tournaments in his home country of the Netherlands, an experience that he deems vital to his investment approach.

Daiana joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2013, after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business & Society at York University. Since then, as a Licensed Representative, Daiana has been instrumental in providing valuable assistance when it comes to navigating administrative tasks. Her dedication and expertise have played a significant role in ensuring the success and productivity of our team.

 

Outside of the office, Daiana enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two energetic young boys, who are always eager to play sports and keep the family on their toes.
