Chris leads a driven team of investment specialists, offering a common sense, businesslike approach to wealth management for institutions, affluent families and professionals that demand a full and comprehensive experience.
Chris started his career in 1996 after graduating from University of Western Ontario, where he progressed to a variety of different roles within BMO.
Chris has a diverse range of financial credentials, education and professional designations. He is a Portfolio Manager – a title held by only a small minority of Canadian Advisors – and in his senior role, is able to access a network of thought leaders and resources to meet the needs and high standards of his discerning clients.
Chris and his wife have two children that are very active in athletics. They enjoy spending time together at their family’s cottage in Algonquin.
Victor joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1999 through a high school co-op program developed with his guidance counselor and business teacher. Victor continued working each summer and on school breaks while completing his Bachelors in Economics at the University of Western Ontario. In doing so, he gained a vast amount of industry knowledge by immersing himself within an established investment team.
After graduating from UWO, Victor quickly pursued qualifications in the industry and earned the Professional Financial Planning designation (PFP®), Certified Investment Management (CIM®) and most recently the Portfolio Manager’s designation. These skills along with his adaptable personality have lead Victor to become an invaluable and extremely dedicated team member.
Victor is a proud father of twins (boy and girl) who enjoy making him laugh and keeping him on his toes. He has a very active lifestyle that includes weight lifting, spending time with family and friends and in quieter moments reading a wide variety of authors (from Daniel Kahneman to Peter Bernstein to Dr. Seuss).
Allison joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2011 after graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce and spending a year abroad travelling throughout Australia and New Zealand. Allison is licensed as a Registered Representative and to trade in Options and Derivatives.
Throughout her time with the firm, Allison has gained extensive operations and trading experience. She is committed to effectively and efficiently servicing our clients’ needs with the utmost care and professionalism. In her spare time, Allison enjoys playing soccer and golf.
Allison lives in Whitby with her husband and their 3 young children who keep them very busy. They enjoy spending time outdoors and head North to their family cottage in the Kawarthas whenever they can.
Taren has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2004 after working in the financial services industry since 1999. A graduate of Ryerson University, Taren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Radio and Television. As a Licensed Representative, she provides invaluable assistance in navigating administrative issues and is a key component to the success and productivity of the group. Her attention to detail ensures the seamless operation of day-to-day activities and she is dedicated to offering clients prompt and diligent service.
Taren is an avid world traveler having been to 6 of 7 continents. She has a passion for scuba diving and underwater photography spending many vacations exploring some of the world’s best reefs. When not diving, she enjoys an African adventure, cruising or exploring a big city.
Taren has a love of animals and has raised three Labrador Retrievers for the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. She currently has small a dog named Ludwig adopted from a rescue out of the United States.
