Blair Pelling, BA

Investment Advisor

Blair has always been into problem-solving and behavioural analytics, interests which he inherited from his father, a global IT and financial consultant. Blair earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Psychology from Queen’s University, and a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. During university, Blair worked with the Canada Border Services Agency as a Student Border Services Officer.

Soon after graduating, Blair began his financial career at Coast Capital Savings, a credit union in BC, where his roles included Senior Financial Services Representative and Financial Advisor. He then moved to National Bank of Canada for nearly eight years as a Financial Planner, Wealth Manager and Personal Banker.

Blair is a former member of the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce and the Boards of Kiwanis and the YMCA. He and his wife have a young son. Blair enjoys spending time, and playing games of all stripes, with his extended family. He keeps very active in sports such as soccer and basketball, as well as outdoor time with his wife and son. Thanks to the pandemic, Blair is getting more interested in reading for pleasure instead of business, though market analysis sometimes falls under both.
