Matthew’s approach is built on thoughtful planning, disciplined investment management, and a clear understanding of each client’s goals. He provides advice across the full spectrum of wealth planning while remaining process-oriented, including portfolio construction and research, retirement and income planning, tax‑efficient investing, and estate and succession considerations while leveraging his partners to lean on their expertise. His focus is on delivering practical, customized strategies that evolve as clients’ lives and priorities change.
Clients value Matthew for his straightforward communication style and his ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, relatable terms. He believes that strong advice starts with listening, and that long‑term success comes from aligning investment decisions with a client’s broader financial picture and personal values.
Matthew works closely with BMO’s Enterprise Wealth planning partners as well as BMO Family Office and collaborates closely with specialists in tax, estate planning, commercial, and credit to deliver integrated solutions for clients with increasingly complex needs.
