Jaymi’s career in the financial services industry began in 2006 after graduating from SAIT with a Diploma in Business Administration - Financial Services. More recently, she obtained the Certificate of Advanced Investment Advice and Certificate of Advanced Financial Advice through the Canadian Securities Institute. Following her interest in people and desire to develop leadership skills, Jaymi moved into the Assistant Market Leader role at BMO Private Wealth in November 2022. Her knowledge of the finance industry, detail-oriented character and friendly nature are instrumental in building relationships with clients and colleagues.

Jaymi moved to Calgary from Northwestern Ontario in the early 2000's and upon graduating from SAIT decided to make Alberta home. An extension of an active childhood, she enjoys yoga and being outdoors engaging in activities such as skiing, skating, biking, swimming, and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Being a lover of animals, she volunteers weekly at AARCS in the Cat Caregiver program. A desire to see the world and an adventurous spirit lead her on several backpacking trips through countries in Asia and the South Pacific. More recently, she has been fortunate enough to visit world renowned cities in Europe and has also lived in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Canmore and Sydney, Australia.

Yemi is a dedicated and seasoned financial services professional, with expertise in both retail and brokerage operations and management. With a background spanning over 15 years in the financial services industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and track record of success in overseeing the operational efficiency of retail and more recently Private Wealth.

As a dynamic and results oriented leader, Yemi excels in driving operational excellence within the Calgary EAP10 Market and ensures seamless execution of brokerage processes. She is known for her excellent organizational skills, ability to streamline processes and collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize workflows, leveraging technology to enhance operational effectiveness and support in driving business growth.

Outside work, Yemi enjoys cooking, quality family time (specifically, shooting hoops with her kids), the outdoors engaging in activities like walks, biking, hikes and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She also has a desire to travel more regularly and plans to scratch off a few more countries on the world map when the opportunities arise.
