Stephane Rochon

Vice President and Managing Director, Head of Private Client Research

Stephane has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry, focusing primarily on Canadian and U.S. equities. Stephane chairs the Private Client Investment Strategy Committee, which establishes the overall asset allocations for client portfolios. He also researches and publishes reports on longer-term investment themes and their expected impact on the markets. As the head of Private Client Research, Stephane is also responsible for the overall direction and oversight of the team's publications.

Richard Belley

Vice President and Managing Director, Fixed Income Specialist

Richard has been involved with Fixed Income and Interest Rate Derivative markets for over 21 years, including seven years in direct sales and trading. Early in his career, Richard worked as an interest rate Futures and Options institutional representative for BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and an international bank advising national and international clients. This was followed by a three-year period as a provincial and municipal trader for the Private Client Division of BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc.

In 2001, Richard participated in the launch of the newly created Portfolio Services Group within the Private Client Division to provide a low-cost alternative for management of fixed income portfolios for high net worth individuals and institutional clients. Richard has been actively managing fixed income portfolios for more than 10 years. He is a CFA Charterholder and a registered portfolio manager.

Since 2011, Richard is the Fixed Income Strategist for the Private Client Division of BMO Nesbitt Burns and is a member of the Investment Strategy Committee.

Russ Visch

Technical Analyst Banker

Russ Visch is PAT’s Technical Analyst, providing coverage on equity, commodity, fixed income, and currency markets. He has been a member of the Portfolio Advisory Team since he joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1996.Russ graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Economics, and completed the Market TechniciansAssociation’s Chartered Market Technician program in 2000.

Russ provides advisors with a technical view of individual securities and broader big-picture market views.He writes the Daily Action Report, which is a great view into where securities are heading, both for long and short-term horizons. He also writes a weekly report that is designed to help identify Canadian and U.S.stocks that have the potential to outperform or underperform the broad markets on an intermediate-termbasis. The report is based on a quantitative ranking system which uses a number of technical inputs. His monthly S&P/TSX 60 report that covers, in detail, technical trends on each stock in the S&P/TSX 60 Indexfe.

Shawna Albornoz is the Vice President of Trust Services (Prairies) with BMO Trust Company, the fiduciary arm of the BMO Financial Group. Shawna has been in the Estate and Trust Industry since 2001 and she has administered over 130 Estate, Trust, Power of Attorney, and charitable foundation accounts during her career.
 
Through her experience as a corporate Executor and Trustee for high net worth clients, she has acquired the expertise to help families effectively plan for the transfer of wealth to the next generation and deal with all fiduciary responsibilities. Shawna holds her MTI designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, she is a member of The Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP), an international professional organization dedicated to promoting financial and estate planning considerations between generations and is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Council (EPC).

Linda joined BMO Wealth Management in 2010, following 10 years of leading a global tax team at a large consulting firm, where she specialized in individual tax considerations with regards to employees relocating permanently or temporarily from/to U.S. and Canada. Previously, she was a Tax Manager in the Small Business and International Assignment Services groups at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a large international accounting firm.
