Allison joined BM EBIT Burns in 2005 from a large international accounting firm where she was a Senior Tax Manager specializing in personal and estate & trust tax planning. Allison has extensive and broad-based experience in income tax and financial planning with high net worth individuals and small to mid-size business owners. She has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional since 1998 and a Chartered Accountant since 1997. Allison holds the designation of Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and has been involved in specialized estate planning for high net worth families and small business owners.
In addition, Allison is a has completed the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)® course which is a comprehensive program developed by the Canadian Academy of Senior Advisors that explores the broad range of health and socio-economic issues on the minds of Canadians entering this stage of their lives. Having completed the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)® course, Allison has gained an enhanced understanding of the issues faced by pre-retirees and retirees as they approach and transition through the various phases of retirement. This educational program has given our team the tools and expertise that allow us to continue to work together with seniors to identify practical options and solutions to help them achieve their retirement goals.
In her leisure time Allison enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time with her husband Tony and their three children.
