Zahid began his financial services industry career in 1994 on the Toronto Stock Exchange trading floor and enjoyed 18 years working in Capital Markets as a successful Registered Trader for a US based investment dealer. He made the transition to the Wealth Management arena when he joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017 and the Kubicek Carli Group in 2019.
His experience on a daily basis presiding over the up, down and sideways nature of equity markets gives him great insight and knowledge understanding and managing investor behaviour and the importance of taking a long term and conservative approach to investing.
Zahid graduated with a BA History from Western University and holds the Chartered Investment Manager CIM® and Personal Financial Planner PFP® designations.
