Ray Abi-Abdallah, CFP®

Ray has worked in the banking industry for 25 years.He has held previous roles as Finanical Planner, Branch Manager and Financial Services Manager over his tenure with the bank. As a Private Banker, Ray's responsibilities include the day-to-day banking activities of our high net worth clients including lending, mutual funds and term deposits as well as all of the axillary services offered through the bank. Ray manages a portfolio of high net worth clients for the Private Bank and its partners in the Greater Toronto Area and provides a very high level of service to his clients.

Ray holds a designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional diploma in Financial services.

Ray has worked for BMO Financial Group for 25 years.


Chris Alward

Chris joined BMO in 2012. He helps high net worth clients and their families work towards their goals by understanding their unique needs and providing personalized services and support to help them achieve what they desire. With extensive managerial and operations experience outside the banking sector, Chris views clients' needs from a unique perspective, having been "in their shoes" when acquiring real estate, negotiating agreements, managing cash flow and when building and running businesses.

Tim joined BMO Nesbitt Burns Financial Services Inc. in 2007 and is now 20 years in the financial services industry in various wealth and risk management positions. Bringing clarity to complex life events and decisions, Tim consistently delivers a polished and professional approach to risk and wealth management concepts.

By focusing on structures of life insurance and living benefits, Tim works with clients to give guidance with estate planning and risk management needs. David brings over 20 years of experience in the Trust and Financial Planning Industry as a Trust and Estate Planner. He has worked extensively with clients in the area of Estate, Will and Trust Planning.

Stéphane Rochon
Managing Director and Head of Private Client Research

Stéphane has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry, focusing primarily on Canadian and U.S. equities. Stéphane chairs the Private Client Investment Strategy Committee, which establishes the overall asset allocations for client portfolios. He also researches and publishes reports on longer-term investment themes and their expected impact on the markets. As the Head of Private Client Research, Stéphane is also responsible for the overall direction and oversight of the team’s publications.

Before joining the BMO team, Stéphane was Director and U.S. Research Product Manager in Credit Suisse’s Equity Research department in New York. As part of that role, he was responsible for approving and coordinating new stock and sector initiations as well as thematic research reports. He also managed the Credit Suisse Focus List and outperformed the S&P 500 seven consecutive years. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2004, he spent six years working with a major Canadian bank in Toronto.

Stéphane is a CFA charter holder and holds an MBA from McGill University.


Hill Su, CPA, CA, CFA, M.Acc
Director, Wealth Planning

Hill works with high-net-worth clients to design holistic wealth plans. With his proven track record of planning for wealthy families and a strong background in tax, Hill adds his knowledge and skills to the overall client experience. Acting as the lead planner on complex client situations, Hill collaborates with a team of specialized planners to deliver customized and comprehensive wealth plans to our clients. Hill is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys playing and watching basketball in his time outside of work.

Hill joined BMO Wealth Management in February 2019. Prior to joining BMO, Hill worked with a boutique wealth management firm advising professionals and business owners on financial planning, tax planning, and estate planning. Hill is a CPA, CA and earned his charter with PwC. He also holds the CFA designation. Hill’s education background includes a Master of Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree, both from the University of Waterloo.

Vince Sansalone
U.S Equity/Option Trader BMO Nesbitt Burns

Vince has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry at BMO Bank of Montreal, focusing on trading; Preferred Shares, Canadian Convertible Debentures and high yield Canadian Corporate Bonds. Vince is a CFA charter holder and graduate of York University in Business Administration.

In addition to trading, Vince is also responsible for helping build a reblance preferred share portfolios and provide insight on current market conditions in the Canadian Preferred market.
