Marcus graduated with a bachelors degree in Economics from York University. Subsequently, Marcus completed several securities, derivatives, and financial planning courses through the Canadian Securities Institute and is currently certified as a holder of the Personal Financial Planner designation. When not at work Marcus enjoys training, theatre, traveling, playing sports, and spends the majority of his time exploring the city with his beloved wife, son, and his champion husky.

Piero brings together the knowledge and experience of our in-house tax and estate professionals and works with Investment Advisors and their clients to develop sound wealth management plans.
He provides support and direction about complex issues such as retirement and distribution planning, tax planning, cash management, estate and gift planning, transition planning and charitable giving.
Piero has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry having worked for a large, Canadian brokerage firm and Insurance company as a financial planner providing comprehensive planning for their high net worth clients in the area of tax, estate, insurance and retirement planning.
Piero has a Business Degree, is a member of the Financial Planning Standards Council and the CFA Society of Toronto
John Paniccia- CPA, CA, CBV
Business Advisory & Succession Planning
John is an experienced business advisor who brings a broad base of technical and business planning experience to BMO Wealth Management. John offers business owners and their advisors in Central Canada expertise in succession planning, transition, sale, M&A, insurance and valuations for the purposes of wealth planning and transfer.
With over 15 years of experience in professional services firms, as well as experience in a family owned private business, John has lead a significant number of complex business valuations and business advisory engagements for private and public companies involved in a variety of industries in connection with M&A, corporate reorganizations & income tax planning, shareholder disputes, corporate finance activities, as well as succession, tax & estate planning for private business owners.
Amanda D. Bjornson PFP, EDC, CDFA
Estate and Insurance Advisor
Amanda has sixteen years of hands on sales experience and relationship management. Having completed various industry related courses and designations, such as the Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), Elder Planning Counselor (EPC), Canadian Securities Course (CSC), LLQP and IFIC, she strongly believes in continuing personal development. She is currently working towards the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. Amanda has had extensive exposure to public speaking, ranging from training small groups to speaking at various conferences ranging to over 350 people. She is WebEx certified to host training sessions, and has recorded voice sessions for advisor training purposes, which are posted on a previous employer’s internal website.
Having taken courses in PowerPoint, Excel, and NaviPlan software, she has been able to provide presentations to clients using a variety of advanced tools.
Amanda is also currently involved with a variety of volunteer positions, including sitting as a Director on a condominium board downtown Toronto, as well as sitting on the executive board for the Icelandic Canadian Club of Toronto. Amanda also volunteers as a big sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, and has volunteered her time as a figure skating coach.

Senior Manager, Trust and Estates
As Senior Manager, Trusts and Estates in the Wealth Management Group, Chris provides guidance to BMO Nesbitt Burns Wealth Management Consultants and Investment Advisors with respect to estate and trust matters, including assistance in developing comprehensive estate plans and with the administration of estates.
Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Chris operated his own law firm, worked as in-house counsel with an insurance company, and worked in the estates and real estate groups in one of the largest and oldest law firms in Brampton, Ontario.
He provides support and direction on complex issues related to estate, gift and tax planning, succession planning for business owners, charitable giving and planning
for family members with special needs.
Chris has been actively involved in the community as a member of numerous boardsand committees, and has chaired and presented at several programs for the Ontario Bar Association.
