What differentiates our team

Individually managed to meet your needs and objectives. Each portfolio is individually constructed to reflect your own investment policy statement, taking into account your needs, existing portfolio and any tax implications. We take the time up front to learn about you, your expectations and your financial short and long-term requirements, your time horizon as well as your risk tolerance, and we take the time to explain the risks and rewards of investing so that you may take informed decisions.
Direct access to your portfolio managers. You will have direct access to a team of two Wealth Advisors responsible for managing your portfolio.
Quality of investment advice. You can rely on the combined investment expertise of two highly educated and experienced advisors, which makes a big difference in the quality of the investment ideas and the service provided.  Both of your personal portfolio managers are Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ®) charter holders. The CFA designation is known as the gold standard of professional credentials within the global investment community. (The Economist, Feb. 2005). Understanding the significance of the CFA charter — and what is required of investment professionals in order to hold it — can be useful information when choosing an investment adviser. The CFA designation is a worldwide renowned distinction among investment professionals, employers, and investors as a standard by which to measure serious investment professionals.
A wealth advisor who is a CFA charter holder has combined at least four years of industry experience with a minimum of 1500 hours of study and rigorous examinations in order to achieve the designation. Core elements of the CFA curriculum include investment tools (economics, financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, and corporate finance), asset valuation (analysis of debt investments, equity investments, derivatives, and alternative investments), and portfolio management (both institutional and individual, including performance measurement).  They are required to make an annual commitment to uphold and abide by a professional code of conduct, of which their employers and clients will be the true beneficiaries.
Tax-sensitive approach to investment. For the majority of our clients, taxation is an important factor and needs to be considered in their investment strategy.  As each portfolio is run on a stand-alone basis, we can focus on your after-tax returns.
