I hold a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from UBC Sauder School of Business and have been working in the investment industry since 2001.
Much of what appeals to me about this industry is the personal aspect of what we do and the impact we make on our clients lives. I find it very rewarding when I help clients to understand and make good financial decisions that are right for them, and I am proud to say that this is what our team does day in and day out and is the foundation of our business.
My affinity for finance and wealth management stems from my humble beginnings.
I came to Canada in the early 80s with my 8 family members and we lived in a small 2 bedroom basement suite together. My family worked long hard hours so that they could afford a house, raise and educate their children, and save a small nest egg for retirement. I learned that regardless of income level, one can achieve their financial goals given a well thought out financial plan and the discipline to stay with it.
My husband is a professional accountant with his own boutique practice. We have two active kids who dance and play hockey, basketball, field hockey, and baseball. Aside from volunteering with my kids’ sports teams in various capacities, I enjoy playing volleyball, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.
