After graduating from Queen’s University, Gail began her career in the insurance industry in Toronto. She and her husband Rob, a lawyer, moved to London in 1975 where Gail headed a pension trust department at a major trust company for several years. The brokerage side of the industry beckoned and Gail launched a rewarding career as a professional investment advisor. Her training included a period of time on Wall Street in New York where she learned the ropes and now, nearly twenty years later, she is a Vice-President with BMO Nesbitt Burns and a veteran of many market cycles.
Gail’s reputation for caring about her clients is wide spread. She also cares about her community, taking leadership roles with organizations such as the YWCA Embracing Your Future Conference, Brain Tumor Foundation, Sexual Assault Crisis Centre Board of Directors, London Club Board of Directors, Breakfast Meeting for Women (BMW) past president, Parkwood Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and currently sits on the Board of the WCA with responsibility for McCormick Home and Wellspring London and Region.
In 1987 Gail founded an investment club for women which is still going strong today.
Her academic achievements include the completion of the Professional Financial Planning Course offered through the Canadian Securities Institute, Levels 1 and 2 Life Insurance (Life Licensed) and the Partners, Directors & Senior Officers Course.
From her experience as a mother of two, now young adults, Gail has a strong focus working with women and their families to assure them financial freedom and successful wealth management. Gail has earned a reputation of trust among all generations.
