Hill Su, CPA, CA, CFA, MAcc
Director, Wealth Planning

Hill works with high-net-worth clients to design holistic wealth plans. With his proven track record of planning for wealthy families and a strong background in tax, Hill adds his knowledge and skills to the overall client experience. Acting as the lead planner on complex client situations, Hill collaborates with a team of specialized planners to deliver customized and comprehensive wealth plans to our clients. Hill is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys playing and watching basketball in his time outside of work.

Hill joined BMO Wealth Management in February 2019. Prior to joining BMO, Hill worked with a boutique wealth management firm advising professionals and business owners on financial planning, tax planning, and estate planning. Hill is a CPA, CA and earned his charter with PwC. He also holds the CFA designation. Hill’s education background includes a Master of Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management degree, both from the University of Waterloo.

Tim Simpson

Tim joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2007 after twelve years in various Wealth and Risk Management positions in the financial services industry. Consistently delivering a polished and professional approach to life insurance, Tim is available to our clients to give guidance with estate planning and risk management needs. Whether for a business, organization or for you personally, he specializes in creating custom-designed solutions to meet your specific needs and integrate them with your wealth management plan. Tim works closely with Ferrie Wealth Management Group by providing them with strategies for creating tax efficiencies within a client’s personal and corporate portfolios. Clients and their respective tax and legal advisors have come to trust and rely upon Tim’s valuable knowledge and sound advice.

An active Sports enthusiast and philanthropist, Tim is a firm believer in giving back to the community. In particular, he is a dynamic supporter of Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and is on the Selection Committee for the Community Achievement Award in Toronto.

David brings over 20 years of experience in the Trust and Financial Planning Industry as a Trust and Estate Planner. David has worked extensively with our clients in the area of Estate, Will and Trust Planning.

He has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

David is committed to providing expert estate planning and advice to our clients, bringing the full power of BMO Trust Company to our clients and their families including corporate executorships, acting as agents for trustee, and helping with various facets of estate planning and administration, including:
  • Securing all of the deceased assets
  • Probating the will (a court process that validates the will)
  • Ensuing all outstanding bills and liabilities are paid
  • Claiming entitlements such as life insurance and survivor benefits
  • Distributing assets to beneficiaries
  • Preparing and filing of the Deceased Final Terminal T1 Tax Returns
