Tim joined the financial services industry in 1994, where he worked with CIBC Wood Gundy until 1999. After a few years of technology consulting, he rejoined the industry in 2002 with BMO Nesbitt Burns in Guelph. Carrying his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, along with the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, Tim is well qualified to advise on a wide range of financial, estate and investment matters.
Tim is also the office technology geek, always looking for new ways to serve our clients.
Tim lives in Guelph with his wife, and 2 kids. When not in the office Tim can be found at a hockey arena, on a golf course or hanging 10 at the lake on a wake surfboard.
Kyle is an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager with BMO Nesbitt Burns and his role allows him to help families achieve their financial, retirement and estate planning goals. His extensive knowledge of investments, insurance and tax planning allows him to tailor individualized plans for each of his clients to help them achieve their goals. Kyle’s investing career began at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where he was exposed to the various investment approaches adopted by one of Canada’s largest pension funds. Kyle has earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University and currently holds his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Professional Financial Planning (PFP) designations from the Canadian Securities Institute. Kyle lives with his family in Elora and is a community-minded person who contributes to the community by sitting on numerous boards.
Greg Kurtz, Senior Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager, is a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Biology. Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2013, Greg spent several years as Branch Manager for Bank of Montreal. Greg utilizes his knowledge and experience gained working with high net worth families and businesses to present optimal solutions that fit each client. Greg has earned his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and his professional financial planning (PFP) designations from the Canadian Securities Institute in order to ensure the best outcomes for his clients.
Greg lives in Fergus with his wife and 2 kids. As a sports enthusiast you’ll find him outside the office playing Rugby, Curling, or teaching his kids to skate.

This includes creating tailored and personalized wealth management strategies, plans, and services that foster long-term trust and relationships.
Cory joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2022 after eleven years at another investment dealer. He currently holds his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and was educated at Wilfrid Laurier University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a focus in economics as well as a Diploma in Accounting.
Cory lives in Elora with his wife and two young children who are very active in sports and recreational activities.
Roslyn worked in the banking industry for 34 years before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2015. She has been part of this team since 2017 as an administrative assistant. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 5 grand children, travelling, biking and enjoying the outdoors.
Harmony is a Licensed Client Service Associate and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional who works on administrative processing for our clients. Harmony is eager to learn and passionate about assisting clients in any way possible. She graduated with distinction from Conestoga College, earning an Advanced Diploma from the Business Administration – Financial Planning in 2019. She joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2019 and earned her CFP® designation in 2022.
Courtney is a Sales Assistant working towards her licensing to better assist clients. She joined the EDK Wealth Advisory team in June 2022. She has a background in Marketing and was a Financial Service Representative at another financial institution for 5 years. She received her degree in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University and lives in Kitchener with her husband and 2 dogs. In her spare time she loves to be active; going for hikes, playing soccer and volleyball and spending time with friends and family.
