Our Process

Our approach is different. Because our clients are different.

Step #1 - Initial Introduction Meeting
The goal of our first meeting is to get perfectly clear on your goals, concerns and unique financial situations.  Almost everyone who leaves our office after the first meeting will comment on how different it was from other meetings with financial professionals.     

Step #2 - Our Analysis
Here we use our decades of experience and training to analyze your personal objectives & goals into your story!  In addition, a comprehensive, living and interactive financial plan is prepared specific to you and your family.

Step #3 - Second Meeting
Here, we present Your Story and Your Personal Financial Plan.  This experience will be unlike any other that you may have had with other financial professionals.
Here we will capture you and your family’s special story and explain, in simple terms, how we will improve your family’s financial goals and lower your fees.
Though many of the clients we meet are ready to become clients at this meeting, we usually ask our clients to go home and think about it again.  We find that this allows our clients to spend the time to truly visualize us partnering in their financial lives.  We want to be your Advisors for life!

Step #4 - Third Meeting/Paperwork
During this meeting we will answer any questions you have and if you are ready, start the paperwork to become a client.

Step #5 – Wealth Management Consultancy Process
Many of our clients have complex needs.  These are usually identified in Step #2 (Analysis) above.  As such, here some of our clients will require meeting with any of our Head Office experts such as our Wealth Management Consultants, Portfolio Advisory members, Tax Experts, Estate Planning Specialists and others.  The meetings and implementation of strategies is usually an ongoing long term process.

Step #6 – Ongoing & Regular Reviews
We strive to meet all of our clients at regular intervals throughout the year (as per your schedule).  Here, and most importantly, we review your plan and strategies, review your portfolio, re-evaluate and re-balance where necessary and rebuild your living financial plan as many aspects of your life will be in constant change.  This is where we help implement the strategies developed in Steps #2 and #4 above.  Most Advisors fail to incorporate implementation strategies.
