Chartered Accountant (KPMG)
MBA, Ivey School of Business (UWO)
B.Comm, University of Toronto (with Distinction)
As Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto and a former business executive, I set up an investment philosophy catered strictly towards conservative investors. By limiting our strategy to specific clients, our team manages the long term goals and complete financial situation for our clients. Accordingly, our clients rely on us for advice on all financial matters of their lives. As a result, we consciously limit our practice to only 100 families so that we can provide the appropriate level of service for each client.
With over 25 years of financial experience as a Chartered Accountant, I offer a unique insight into providing financial advice to my clients. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance from The Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario. Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns I held several executive positions at some of Canada’s largest public companies. These included roles as both Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Assistant Treasurer at Canada’s largest public company. I also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a private software company based in Toronto.
I am also currently a Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto and my past teaching history includes lecturing for the Canadian Securities Course and serving as a guest lecturer at McGill University’s MBA program.
