Tel: 403-750-0852

Allison is a Senior Vice President and Associate Portfolio Manager with BMO Nesbitt Burns. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Investment Manager.  Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Allison spent 10 years as a Senior Vice President and Investment Advisor with Macquarie Private Wealth and 7 years as an Investment Advisor with National Bank Financial.

Since 1996, Allison has been advising individuals and families on the management of their wealth.  Over the course of her career she has developed a process designed to help her clients identify and achieve their overall financial objectives.  She begins with an Investment Consulting Process to determine, among other things, risk tolerances and cash flow needs. Once the Consulting Process is complete, an appropriate Asset Allocation is determined and the Investment Policy Statement is drafted.  Portfolio Construction and Implementation follow with regular quarterly reviews and rebalancing.

Allison sits on the Investment Advisor Advisory Coucil at BMO Nesbitt Burns.  Council meets quarterly with the Leadership Team at Nesbitt Burns to discuss the strategic direction of the firm.  Allison also sits on the BMO Wise Committee to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.  She serves on the BMO for Women Committee aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs in the community.

As the founder of Cocktails, Canapes and Conversation, Allison hosts an annual networking event for professional women to discuss leadership, personal finance and philanthropy.  She also sits on the Sunalta School Parent Council and is reponsible for the extra-curricular and enrichment activities for grades 1 through 6.

Within the community, Allison is a long time supporter of the annual Willow Park Wine Auction with proceeds to the Vintage Fund in support of local charities.  She is a supporter and volunteer with Junior Achievement and Connections Councelling.  Connections is a local non profit dedicated to helping paresnts and children with developmental delays.

A mother of two very active sons, Allison spends her personal time at the hockey rink and on the field.
