Here is a note from our Chief Operating Officer regarding safety of assets and safety of information as it relates to the Ukraine/Russia conflict:
- BMO has no material direct exposure to the region.
- BMO’s Financial Crimes Unit is monitoring the conflict and will stay in close contact with government authorities and key partners to share information.
- BMO has robust security safeguards in place and have taken additional precautionary measures since the escalation.
- Our primary focus is on the safety and security of our customers’ accounts and personal information.
Market and Portfolio Update
As of yet, we do not have much to add to last week’s market update. Stock markets have been bouncing wildly, though in a net sideways motion for the past few weeks as they struggle to confirm a bottom of support before moving higher.

A Look at Recent Changes to Ontario Estate Law
