Lee Rorabeck, CIM®
Portfolio Manager and Senior Wealth Advisor
Lee is a graduate of the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. Lee is a Senior Wealth Advisor, having joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1996. His breadth of experience was enhanced when leading a team of Advisors as a Branch Manager in the West Toronto area for four years. As a Portfolio Manager and Charter Investment Manager approved by CSI, he now leads our team’s portfolio management and wealth planning strategies.
Lee and his wife of over 25 years, Cheri, are preparing to transition from busy hands-on parents to empty-nesters, as their son & daughter will be immersed in their own university experiences. This may allow some time for a few of Lee’s other interests: golf, fishing, skiing, reading and some travel.
Lee has always believed charity was important. Lee served as a Big Brother for many years and is now a generous supporter of United Way.
Steven Brophy
Senior Wealth Advisor
Born in Cuba, Steve became fluent in Spanish as his father’s work assignments moved their family to various locations such as Colombia, Venezuela, and Florida. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, from Queen’s University.
Steven joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1987, and in addition to providing financial advice to his private clients, he has had the privilege of serving in various management positions. In 1998 Steve was invited to become Manager of the St.Clair (Midtown) Branch of BMO Nesbitt Burns where he enjoyed coaching and supporting other Advisors until 2020. From 2010 to 2014, as a Divisional Manager, Steve was responsible for oversight of roughly 185 Advisors at 6 branch locations across the GTA. From 2018 to 2023 Steve served as a consultant to senior managers as a Regional Director of Advisory.
Steve was appointed a Managing Director in 2008, earned the Wealth Advisor designation in 2009, and in 2009 was also pleased to be awarded the inaugural “IIAC Industry Scholarship Award”. As winner, he was invited to attend a three-consecutive-year program, which took place each March at the Wharton School in Philadelphia.
In addition to constantly looking for ways to better serve the complex financial needs of our clients, Steve & his partner Julie spend most weekends showing gracious hospitality to their many friends, along with their large extended family.
Keeley Simpson, CIM®
Portfolio Manager & Senior Wealth Advisor
Keeley is a native Montrealer and graduated from McGill University in Finance & Accounting with a Bachelor of Commerce. Joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2007, Keeley is a Portfolio Manager and Senior Wealth Advisor specializing in working with professional women. She enjoys delivering educational seminars to women investors at various associations and companies. Keeley is responsible for investment research, portfolio management and client relationship management.
In 2015, Keeley was recognized with the "The Distinguished Young Advisor Award" presented by the Knowledge Bureau. She was invited to speak on a panel at the annual conference in November 2015 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In 2016 & 2022, Keeley was recognized by her BMO management team and nominated for the "IIAC Top Under 40 Award". The award recognizes and celebrates the new generation of highly motivated and talented young professionals whose drive, dedication, personal and professional qualities and accomplishments have brought distinction to the investment/financial industry.
Now a resident of Toronto, Keeley and her husband Will have a very busy household with their 4 children and 2 dogs! Keeley’s young family enjoy daily walks. A favourite is Evergreen Brickworks where they can see Blue Herons, snapping turtles and lots of ducks to keep them all entertained!
Lois Pesikan, PFP
Senior Business Associate
Since joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1998, Lois earned her Wealth Advisor designation in 2009, PFP (Personal Financial Planning) in 2011, and EPC (Elder Planning Counselor) in 2018.
With oversight of our team’s administration, Lois strives to provide exemplary client service. As a Wealth Advisor, Lois always has a focus on the “big picture”, ensuring that the day-to-day service provided to clients is in line with their Financial Plan.
Having held the role of both Branch, and Regional Compliance Officer for a time, Lois’s experience makes her uniquely qualified to help us all adapt to the ever-changing Compliance and Regulatory requirements of our industry.
Lois & her husband Milan (Mike) have been married for over 30 years. They have enjoyed extensive travel to many countries of the world but are equally content to enjoy entertaining friends & family in their own home here in Toronto.
Gilbert Bushati
Senior Client Service Associate
Gilbert came to BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2018 with prior industry experience at various financial services companies. Gilbert had a support role for the hedge fund industry, has experience in trading complex financial derivatives along with mainstream financial products, and has advised on health and life insurance needs. Gilbert’s earlier experience included various engineering consultancies and government operations, in Europe and North America. At BMO Nesbitt Burns, Gilbert is essential to caring for the day-to-day servicing of our client’s wealth needs as a Senior Client Service Associate.
When not in the office, Gilbert prefers to enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, fishing, and cycling.
Vesna Blazanin

Vesna joined BMO Nesbit Burns in 1996 and currently holds the title of Senior Client Service Associate. Vesna always strives for excellence in caring for client’s day-to-day service needs, and as a detail-oriented person she leaves no stone unturned when trying to resolve any client concern. Vesna’s friendly demeanour, depth of industry experience, and passion for helping others makes her an invaluable member of our team.
When Vesna isn’t working she loves pretty much anything to do with music and travelling!
