Meet Our Team

Janet was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and grew up in New Brunswick. She moved to Fredericton, NB in 1993 to begin her career in the financial services industry with one of the country’s largest investment dealers. She has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 1995 and enjoys the entrepreneurial culture of the firm.

Janet has been married for over 25 years to her wonderful husband Tim Phillips of Fredericton, NB. They are devoted parents to their two teenage boys, Ryan and Evan. School, hockey, soccer and biking keep their family active and connected.

Outside of work Janet enjoys spending time at the cottage with her family and friends, gardening, and learning to play golf. Charities that have special meaning to Janet are World Vision, Fredericton Community Services, Canadian Cancer Society, Junior Achievement, Ability NB. Inc, 100 Women Who Care, and Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation.

Vivian hails from the west coast and made her way to the Maritimes in 2013.  Outside of work, Vivian & her husband Kyle are kept busy by their young daughter, Amelia.

Vivian has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria.  Along with her education she brings a wealth of knowledge from her past work experiences at a competitive firm, where she has been exposed to both the retail banking channel and the full-service brokerage side of the financial industry throughout her 15-year career. 

Vivian has completed the Canadian Securities, Conduct and Practices Handbook and Wealth Management Essentials Course with the Canadian Securities Institute.  And has earned a Certificate in Advanced Financial Advice through her continued education courses with the Canadian Securities Institute. In 2023, Vivian successfully earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation through FP Canada.
