James joined Nesbitt Burns in 2013. Prior to Nesbitt, he was a part of a Chairman’s Council team at another Canadian bank owned brokerage. He is passionate about portfolio management and investment analysis and is a CFA® charterholder.

As an Investment Advisor, James is responsible for preserving and growing your wealth. He does so by leveraging the vast knowledge and experience of BMO Financial group as well as his external network and applying it to your unique circumstances. He works closely with your accountants, estate planning attorneys, business valuation experts, insurance and estate advisors, trust specialists, commercial bankers, and personal and commercial lenders to ensure your financial strategy works in a cohesive, simplified manner.

James originally hails from Montreal and can usually be found reading, spending time with family and friends, or skiing the slopes in the winter. He also lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he completed his undergraduate studies at Dalhousie University.
