Michelle Crouse

Senior Wealth Advisor

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Michelle Crouse is an energetic and passionate advocate for her affluent and diverse clientele. Partnering with Naomi Isner in 2018 to form the Isner Crouse Wealth Advisory Group, today the two co-lead the team with complementary skills.

Michelle began her career with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1996. She is a Dalhousie University graduate and holds a Bachelor of Commerce. Michelle completed the Professional Financial Planning Course with the Canadian Securities Institute and the BMO Nesbitt Burns Wealth Advisory Program to enhance her skills in serving affluent clients. Prior to joining BMO Private Wealth, Michelle was a Commercial Lender at the Business Development Bank for several years before stepping away for a period to raise her three children.

Michelle has long demonstrated community leadership. Most recently, she served as Co-chair of the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) Lunenburg Campus Make Way Campaign. She founded the Crouse Business Award (now the Isner Crouse Business Award) at NSCC, an annual scholarship fund to support young women who aspire to a business career. Learn more. Michelle also served for many years as Chair and Past Chair of the Bridgewater Development Association in an advisory capacity with other business owners. Together, they boosted the town’s growth by attracting new businesses, families and the retiree community and transformed the Bridgewater landscape.

Michelle is equally passionate about her work within BMO Nesbitt Burns. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor Advisory Council, established to ensure the productive exchange of ideas between leadership and advisors. A strong advocate for women’s financial engagement and success, Michelle was featured in a Women of Influence article in partnership with BMO for Women. She was also thrilled to be asked to participate in the BMO for Women National Market Council as an advocate and representative for BMO Private Wealth. In addition, Michelle has been a strong supporter of the BMO Celebrating Women program, having twice nominated candidates chosen as award recipients.

Together with Naomi, Michelle loyally supports local causes that help vulnerable people in our communities. Each year, the team supports a variety of organizations including Feed Nova Scotia, the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, and the South Shore Open Doors Association (SSODA) – a local organization that assists the unhoused. In addition, the team supports LIFT Lunenburg County Microlending, an initiative that supports grassroots business ventures in their infancy – often helping women who need a little financial assistance and mentoring to get their ideas off the ground.

Michelle and her husband Rick have three adult children and two grandchildren. They enjoy travelling and spending time at their cottage by the ocean. You’ll also find Michelle regularly working out at the 902 Athletics gym.

Naomi Isner, CIM

Senior Portfolio Manager & Senior Wealth Advisor

A seasoned Wealth Advisor, Naomi has successfully navigated her clients through many challenging life changes and market cycles. She holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and is also a licensed Portfolio Manager. This credential allows her to provide discretionary portfolio management, making investment decisions on clients’ behalf – a distinct advantage in the ever-evolving world of wealth management. It also demonstrates Naomi’s sound business ethics, advanced investment management skills, and continuing commitment to professional education.

Intend on building meaningful client relationships rooted in compassion and authenticity, Naomi takes a collaborative approach, working alongside her clients and their circle of advisory professionals as needed. She is a strong believer in the value of educating her clients to help them feel informed and confident when making financial decisions.

Originally from BC, Naomi started her financial services career in 1989. She joined BMO Private Wealth in 2018 to team up with Michelle and together they created the Isner Crouse Wealth Advisory Group. Naomi earned a diploma in Finance at BC Institute of Technology (BCIT), specializing in Economics and Accounting. She has also completed the Qualified Associate Financial Planner designation on route to the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Passionate about helping others, Naomi supports a number of both local and national organizations that work hard to better the lives of others. As universal donor, she regular donates blood and encourages others to do the same.

Outside of the office, Naomi is the proud Mom of a teenage son whom she loves to ski with. She is an avid gardener and self-described “project person.” Naomi takes every opportunity to be outside in nature, working alongside her entrepreneur partner Joey on their property or inside cooking a great meal together.

Fabrizio Contini contributes to the team’s ability to maintain a high standard of service by providing flawless administrative support and delivering a professional and positive client experience.

With methodical and analytical problem-solving skills, Fabrizio attends to all daily administration, including cash transfers, document processing and any client service requests. He is detail oriented and focused on accuracy and time sensitivity. Fabrizio’s personality is warm and engaging and he has an impressive work ethic.

Born and raised in Bologna, Italy, Fabrizio gathered two years of experience in the Italian biomedical industry as a product specialist before joining BMO Private Wealth. His strong passion for the financial world led him to expand on his Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy by pursuing a Master of Finance degree from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. He arrived in Canada in 2021 and achieved his career goal of entering the financial industry by joining BMO Private Wealth in 2022.

Outside of work, Fabrizio completed a Civil Protection Training Camp in Italy to learn disaster humanitarian relief. With a passion for sports, he practiced powerlifting competitively in Italy and today trains methodically at the 902 Athletics gym. As a rugby follower and player, he has joined the newly founded Bridgewater Rugby Team. Fabrizio is embracing his new career and community and has become a valued member of the Isner Crouse Wealth Advisory Team.
