Iqbal Tejpar, CPA, CA, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

For over twenty years, Iqbal has been providing professional, private Portfolio Management to individuals, corporations, trusts, estates, foundations and endowments.


Upon earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Scotland, he trained to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1987. Since 1991, Iqbal has also been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC), and in 1998, received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.


Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Iqbal was a Managing Director for a large investment counselling firm, where he was responsible for oversight of more than $1.5 Billion in client assets. He gained experience providing tax and financial planning advice to executives and higher-net-worth individuals in his earlier role as a senior manager with KPMG in Vancouver.


Iqbal has authored and presented courses on financial planning and wealth management for the ICABC. He has volunteered with CFA Institute, including as a member of the Board of Directors of CFA Vancouver, and as a member of CFA Institute's Disciplinary Review Committee ('DRC') from 2006 to 2012. Iqbal's commitment to ethics in the profession earned him a term as Deputy Chair of the DRC. Iqbal and his family live in North Vancouver, British Columbia, where he has served as Director and Treasurer of The Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation for Young Artists and for several years also served on the Board of Directors of The Capilano College Foundation.

Naqib Azad, BBA, CIM®

Investment Associate

Naqib graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After graduating Naqib joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2016.

 

Naqib was born and raised in Nakuru, Kenya. Growing up he was an avid field hockey player. In university Naqib was very involved in student clubs, especially Social Innovation. He was recognized for this work by being invited to be the graduand speaker at his SFU convocation ceremony. Naqib has also obtained his Chartered Investment Management Designation.

 

Outside of work, Naqib enjoys an active lifestyle and spends time in the gym and has since taken an interest in golf and archery.

Lisa manages Estate and Trust accounts with a specialization in enCircle Services, overseeing financial, lifestyle and well-being solutions. She is well-versed in related fields and often works in tandem with client’s own legal and accounting advisors.

 

Lisa is a six time Platinum award winner with BMO Private Banking, demonstrating her commitment to working with other members of BMO Financial Group and excellent working relationship with her clients.

 

In her personal time, Lisa enjoys outdoor activities, volunteering at her children’s schools and travelling with her family.

Nicco Bautista, LL.B, MA

Director, Estate Planning, BMO Private Wealth

Nicco works with clients and other members of the BMO Wealth Planning Team to prepare estate plans for clients. These plans often include wills and trusts, after considering business and tax planning, estate and family law litigation exposure, and other complex issues which may be unique to the client, such as charitable giving and planning for family members with special needs.

Nicco has experience working with clients' key advisors and family office members. Together, Nicco can help with the creation or refinement of a comprehensive estate plan that helps families achieve their goals across different generational and cultural philosophies.
