Shawna Albornoz is the Vice President of Trust Services (Prairies) with BMO Trust Company, the fiduciary arm of the BMO Financial Group. Shawna has been in the Estate and Trust Industry since 2001 and administered over 120 Estate, Trust, Power of Attorney and charitable foundation accounts during her career. Through her experience as a corporate Executor and Trustee for high net worth clients she has the expertise to help families effectively plan for the transfer of wealth to the next generation and deal with all fiduciary responsibilities.

Shawna holds her MTI designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, is a member of The Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP), an international professional organization dedicated to promoting financial and estate planning considerations between generations, and is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Council (EPC).

 

Todd Coleman, MBA, CPA, CGA, FEA

Todd helps our business owners and entrepreneur clients achieve their objectives in the most efficient methods possible for the purposes of wealth planning and transfer. He provides guidance on multiple advanced planning and business valuation situations to help clients simplify their wealth complexities.

Prior to joining BMO Private Banking in 2010, Todd was a Vice President at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance.  He has acted as an advisor to mid-market companies on mergers and acquisitions transactions across a wide variety of industries.  In addition, Todd previously served as the President of a family-owned distribution company operating in the sporting goods industry for five years.  Todd has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta.  

He is a Certified General Accountant and has earned the Family Enterprise Advisor designation from the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors.  He currently serves as President of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (CAFE), Calgary Chapter, and he has delivered workshops on family business topics at regional and national events for CAFE.
